Don't leave water bottles in your vehicle

Thought I would forward some information about the dangers of leaving water bottles in your vehicle. I have been guilty of leaving water bottles in my truck on hunting trips both for me and my dogs but I have to come up with a better solution.

You can find anything you want on the internet. I personally would not accept anything from the Weather Channel at face value other than a short term weather report. They love to sensationalize things. What does the USA armed forces use to store their water & for how long. I am pretty sure that the companies that make the plastic bottles would disagree with that report. That being said…. Be careful out there!

Tough crowd....lol. Over 90% of our US water supply contains micro plastics, so I'm not sure how much anyone could disagree...it's pretty well known but do with it what you will.

Some funky responses on this one, Mosby lol. I’m with ya, though. I think it’s clear that microplastics are bad for you. I tote my metal water bottle around to try to avoid all of that.

Maybe shade covers for your truck could lower the temp inside by quite a bit.

I use SS Nalgene's when I'm elk hunting now but I still like squeeze bottles for my dogs. I'm going to start packing a larger cooler in my truck and keep the dogs water bottles cold and out of direct sunlight when the weather is warm. Should reduce the leeching to some extent.

The microplastics are not good, but much worse things are in our tap water. I agree with this post but I was probably a 6 pack deep when I responded. Im not perfect! Im not going to go on a tangent about what we are forced to drink because goes against...some guide line and im not trying to get banned right before season starts.
