Seeking advice...any users of boots from dogbooties.com? The boots are reasonably priced but would love to hear from users. Which to buy, 500 or 1000 denier cotton?

Here in kansas, i might be in creeks, rock, crops, CRP in the same patch. My GSP sometimes gets sores, small cuts on his webbing between the toes from running through the brush. His pads are fine. I have never used boots.

I use motorcycle intertubes. Their cheap an work as well as any boot.

Ive used them for years. If you only have one dog - get both to try. Theyre cheap enough. Theres a few tricks to getting them to stay on. Get BRIGHT colored boots so you can see them when a dog throws one.

How old is your dog? Its a good idea to get a dog used to them early in life but certainly long before the season opens.

get the 500 denier, they won't last as long, but they have more flex and the dog will scarcely know they are on........work great, get with elastic and wrap them snug.

I use booties from Ten Squared Racing . Com. Sled dog booties the are about 1.50 each . They are not as durable as others be have better elastic. I buy these because even with vet rap and duck tape my partners Britt still lost 8-10 booties in3days.
