Did a day hunt in Nebraska yesterday, seeing only a few birds and bagging none. But the dog is working beautifully. Conditions were warm, windy and dry when he started working a moving bird in CRP. He pointed, reset, and quartered repeatedly on this bird, with me quick marching to keep up. Finally the hen flushed fifteen feet away. Good dog. This is an unpapered Brittany I got from the National Brittany Rescue and Adoption Network at about nine months. This is our third season.
