Dog Trailer

A buddy of mine is looking for a project to keep him busy so he asked if he could build me a dog trailer. He's a very handy guy so I figured why not. Looking for ideas from you guys on things you have on your trailers that you like and things you could do away with.

It's going to be for 4 dogs with top storage and tie-outs by the doors. Thinking 15'' wheels is probably what is needed. Other than that I'm pretty open for ideas. Post pics if you have them please. Thanks

What material are u planning on using? Wood-metal-steel- aluminum-diamond plate?

If metal probably u and he should get a good look at some trailers built by--Ainley, Mountain Top,Deerskin- for ideas--would also seriously consider tandems, as well.

Many features of these top manufactures are not apparent with out a very close examination
--good luck--

Water tank, and storage rack for odds and ends bird crates etc out the back. Makes a good bumper for protection too. Locking doors, and also saftey hook, snap lead latches on all the dog doors. Fans and wire in a charging station for collars etc. Drain holes so you dont flood it when cleaning. And if aluminum, line inside with stainless pannels. Or your dogs turn crappy grey color. A few 12 volt lights you can fire up to see in your top and out side is nice too.

Nice friend
