Dog friendly hotel/motel in Liberal, Ks

Hey all,
Heading up to Liberal from Tx tomorrow at O dark thirty and am looking for budget lodging around Liberal, Ks for me and my lab.

Also any recommendation on in-expensive dining would help. Plan on being ther through Sat.

Any help appreciated!

City park next to motel is great for walking the dog. Be sure to pick up after it though.

Good eats just down the road at the Cattlemen's.
 
You need to call ahead for reservations. This week end will be busy. Oklahoma season opened today. There will lots of hunters out this weekend. Liberal always get the overflow since there a not that many towns of any size in the OK Panhandle. Good luck. I was out of town all last week didn't get to go out. I'll ask around & find out what's working & what's not a post back.
 
I recommend the Days Inn in Liberal. Stayed there last season and it's a really nice place. Felt a little strange taking the dog through the lobby and up to the room at such a clean hotel, but they don't mind a bit. Here's the address and phone #:
