Dog and I Share a Common Language

Yes, the dog and I now share a common language. Our conversations only occur after lights out. I do have to initiate them, and they go as follows:

Me: rrrrr
Dog: rrrrr
Me: rrrrrrrr
Dog: rrrrrrrr!

This can go on but the dog quickly takes an argumentative tone, so I keep it short.

So my wife only gives extremely high value/ high quality treats. It has gotten so bad our dogs have turned into treat snobs. When the gal at the bank or hardware store tries to give them a milk bone or an old Roy, they sniff it and turn their noses up and drop it
