Deer Behind My House

I just snapped a couple of pics of the deer in the field behind my house. They are pawing down through the snow to the alfalfa. Had over 30 head out there last night. You can see in the one shot that I took my snowblower and blew out my backyard so the dogs could get around easier. In driving around the country I see lots of pheasants out scratching in the field for some food.

Are you feeding the deer?
I have corn in the back for Pheasants and deer but no takers yet. I saw a Rooster in the front yard the other day. At first I thought it was a long tail feather then I saw It was a big old middle finger.:D

Oh, they are there year round, they just show up more now with all the snow. I live on the edge of town and they are in the city limits. So "No Hunting".

jmac, didn't I see you say in a previous post that you use to live in Buffalo, WY? I have realtives in the Buffalo area. My brother-in-law owns the pharmacy in Buffalo. Let me know. Shoot me a PM.

Zeb,

Pm sent.:)

Zeb, reminds me of last year. I would snow blow the back yard so the dogs could run and so they couldn't walk over the fence. This year has been about the complete opposite in SW Iowa as hardly any snow.
