When do the rifle season applications need to be in?

Are there ever any left over tags that can be purchased after the application period?

Not that I'm aware of... although I'm no expert on the NR draw. Usually the tags are awarded solely on the draw period. I've never heard of "exceptions to the rule". Your best bet would to be the KDWP.

Last year there were leftovers in a few units and they went fast. No promises for this year.

You can get tags after the draw..... What unit you wanting to hunt? Some units have lots of tag left over and than some have very few. Last year only a hand full of units did not have tags left over.
