Well for the 2nd time in two years something got in my pigeon coop and killed and dragged off all my pigeons.

A buddy of mine had just given me 5 more pigeons to add the the few I had.

With my Daughters new setter pup and a good friend with a new V pup, I really needed some pigeons to train with this summer.

Well I found some young pigeons on Craigslist, so I went and bought a dozen.

I dont know much about pigeons. If they are young enough when you get them can you train them to come back to the coop?

I'm betting a raccoon. We have trouble with them occasionally, but they are easy to trap.

A big boar raccoon is one tough SOB! You'll have to build your coop like Ft Knox if you want to keep 'em out. Good luck, Steve.

You want young pigeons that have not been flown somewhere else our they will home to that place.
My pigeons can't fly much yet, still to young.
