Cuttin' the Dust

How do you cut the dust at the end of long day in the field? I know when I am about having to crawl out of the last field, a shot of W.L. Weller bourbon out of the back of the rig tastes mighty refreshing. Of course, that bottle is opened and passed around only after all the guns are sheathed for the day.

Personally, I like a little Jack and Coke (diet pepsi actually) and then a few Busch Lights to top it off.

What is with all this blasphemy involving fine whiskey & soda pop.

Poor good whiskey (Makers, Jamesons, Crown etc) in glass. Add some ice. Let ice melt until water & whiskey ratio is approximately 50\50. Consume and repeat.

"Consume and repeat." Very well said, sir.

Notice: Glenlivet is my second choice; Neat with water on the side...mmmmm!

To cut the dust Original Coors or MN brewed Schell's Lakemaid or Grainbelt Premium
To toast the hunt 12 year old Jameson or Single barrel Jack Daniel's right from the bottle passed around to everyone.

What!! No Miller High Life lite. It is the champain of beers. And its bucks a 30 pack.

Real beer, none of this light crap. "Naked" or "Spotted Cow" from the New Glarus brewery in WI, or a Guinness Draft, with a little of The Knot, neat on the side.

Agreed. Lite beer compared to beer is like a Pinto compared to GTO. Break out the Aurturo Fuente's and I'll sit on your side of the campsite.
