Crop Predictions ?

Anyone have any predictions for the opener ? Are the crops going to be in our out ? I've been reading that in some parts of SD that crops are being cut for silage. If thats the case then the hunting should be great... mild winter, solid spring, and hopefully crops out.

The data suggests the crops are well ahead of the 5-year averages so based on that one could assume that the majority of crops would be out by opener. That and opener is a week later this year.

Is it mostly corn this year in Charles Mix county? Didn't seem to be as much beans and milo last year.
