well, once again, halfway thru the season, and not a single hunting post. the state of Missouri that could once lead a legitimate debate over which state was the best quail hunting, is now what 15th?, 20th?

how about a covey report? has anyone shot a limit? you don't have to hotspot, but at this point, i don't think we are in any danger of making Missouri a bird hunting destination again. i'm guessing anyone one on this forum is probably out hunting in other states anyway.

Hunted opening day in north central. Flew 5 good size coveys Haven’t been back with deer season lasting all winter most of the places I use to hunt don’t want me affecting there deer hunting Don’t know why deer hunters need close to 40 days to kill a deer with a rifle

Know friends of friends who have purchased 80-120 acre farms down there. Yep, for deer, not birds. All are non-residents.
