Crappies

Crappies are starting to bite and had pretty good Sat. afternoon. Size was 10-11 in. and will be some good eating. This week should produce some good fishing.

Caught two pike, one bluegill and one bass today. Water is still chilly up here in the North and the bite was slow. With the temps it should be better later this week.

Robins showed up on Tuesday. Spring has sprung!

Hard to find good-sized Crappie out here anymore, but I'm busy finishing-up my coyote hunting this month.

Hey I was wondering if you Crappie guys heard anything about ow the fish were biting at Lake Rathbun or Red Rock ?? I planning a trip for a day or two to either one I haven't made up my mind yet.

Seems like the fishing is pretty good across the state with these warm temperatures. I caught some nice walleyes yesterday.
