Colorado Pheasant Hunt Advice for X-Mas Trip.

Hello Fellow Hunters,
going on a X-mas pheasant/quail hunt trip with my father and brother (unfortunately no dog). We were planning on somewhere out east around Phillips and Yuma counties. We were going to use the Late Season Crop Walk-in access guide from CDOW. Any advice and/or pointers? thanks and happy holiday's. Anyone who would like to join is welcome, the more the merrier.

Regards,

Hoping to reach my bag limit

Welcome. I've had one of the best years ever here in Colorado and we haven't even had any snow! You'll do fine in just about any likely spot in both Yuma and Phillips counties although if you're averse to knocking on doors (which I strongly suggest) you'd be better off in Phillips as it has more walk-in access. Switch Grass.

go for it. From what i hear from relitives in yuma, you cant go wrong. Try the shetter belts or any grain fields with stubble. hope you have a few people to hunt with, as no dog , you will need. :)
