Knocked two species off my bucket list and took three different species of grouse in two days........
Hard hunt but well worth it....

Could have limited out Sunday but I couldn't seem to swing the shotgun.. My arms were like lead weights....

It was pretty warm on Sunday... It also was the end of the day. We were finished. Long walk in and a long walk out for Blue Grouse.... I do though keep him hydrated whether he likes it or not....
Be nice when the weather changes and he won't get so heated....

Congrats on a feat that is not very often reached !! 1st Grouse slam I have heard of!!! Hope you topped it off with a good nightcap!!!!:10sign::cheers:

That's why I have and hunt with yella dogs:p;)

Looked on the weather forecast, 50% chance rain Thursday and highs in low 60s and high 50s here in Colorado Springs. Low is like 40....I say BRING IT!!

I can say I have shot willow ptarmigan (in Alaska), spruce grouse, ruffed, but not dusky or sharptails....:(

Thanks... Sundowner was a nice glass of Singleton's Single Malt Scotch (neat of course) and a Romeo y Juilet Churchill Cigar..... Finished the day off nicely.... Dog enjoyed a bit of scotch himself(just a little taste of course)....

No I drive a Silver Ford Escape. There was a white truck with a camper parked nearby where I was hunting on Saturday....
