Got out east for a couple days. Finally found the birds and connected on a few shots.


2 youngsters and an old man



Nice Colorado limit


Day 3 was a little colder!
 
Great job.. It was brutal on the prairie but we haven’t had too many of these days to take advantage of.
 
Congrats on your success. I have shot a few older birds this year as well. It is cool when you fool a veteran rooster

Looks COOOOOOOOOL. That playboy of yours likes having a bird in his mouth. Hell, does he eat most of the birds you shoot ;0)
 
That has to be one of the longest spurs I've seen here. Got a few with ivory tips in North Dakota but not in Colorado.
 
Spurs from the two roosters I killed on Saturday. Both nice birds and both in places I wouldn't expect to find an old rooster either.
