Classic dove hunting

Funny that you mention that as I was born and raised in Garland, Texas (joined the USAF and retired from active duty here back in 2010). Anyhow, I used to hunt doves down in Hamilton, Texas, the so-called dove capital of Texas. Heck, back then they would have a parade, cook out and everything...it was a pretty big deal. Since there isn't much public land to hunt down in Texas (that is really worth a crap) so you are relegated to hunting private land and hopefully you have family or friends with some decent places to hunt.

We would limit out by 0800hrs.....good thing because it was to dang hot to hunting any later :eek:

Me, my brother, my dad and a friend went hunting last Friday, we saw a couple of Doves but didn't get any, and I was using my new Shotgun.
