Chukar eggs?

I have 6 chukars. I think there is one hen and 5 cocks. The one that I think is the hen, is all beat to crap. Theyve got all the feathers knocked off the back of her head and she looks rough. She has a nest with about 18 eggs in it, but I dont see her sitting in it.... ever. Whats the deal? Why doesnt she sit on her eggs? Should I take the eggs out? Separate the hen from the cocks? Whats it going to take?

Most game birds won't set their eggs in captivity. You could give her a lot of space and cover and only one rooster and she might set. Might. Best bet though would be to get a good broody, bantam game hen and let her do the hard work of setting and brooding.

If you don't want her soon dead get the roosters out of there. WAY to much commotion for her to set. Eggs are fertile leave her in the pen by herself, if she isn't beat up to bad she may set.
