I have a guest traveling from Chicago to Platte next week for hunting. It sounds like he plans to take I-80/29/90 (+ 1 hour, 70 miles) where I would exit I-29 at Vermillion and take Hwy 50 (more or less). I don't feel that confident of his map skills to send him off on two lanes (gps challenged). I-90 sounds like a better route to me. He will be traveling on Monday. Any drawbacks to that route?
