Hossdog, you asked for suggestions so I am going to suggest.
In no way am I trying to offend you or anyone.
On the 27th of December you started crate training your pup.
On the 7th of January you explain the pup was doing well but then did terrible.
IMHO 12 days is not enough time to properly crate train a pup. Mine normally take over a month and even then their are exceptions.
Please keep in mind that members of the canine family do not like to void in their den area. This applies to both wild and domestic.
Part of the process of crate training is to get the pup to "feel" like the crate is a den.
To do this takes time. Also starting a 10 month old is more difficult then a younger pup but not an impossible task.
May I suggest this link to try to assist in crate training a dog.
