The EHD die-off in 2013 was extreme in South Dakota not to mention a host of other states. I knew we had it bad but maybe not the top county in the state. Yep. 400+ animals reported in Charles Mix County.
I am sure a lot more went unreported. What a loss of resource but nature will play her cards whenever and wherever she wants. To me it seems as a measure to how bad the drought was in our part of the state. Seems drought related.
