I am a die hard NSTRA guy.I love the format and enjoy the people that run in the events but after doing this for 5 years it has gotten alittle boring.
My training buddy has been pushing me for the last 5 years to try and put a master hunt title on my 6 year old vizsla.I put a senior title on my first dog(about 15 years ago) but have never attempted doing master.
I got into my first test late this spring, passed and couldn't wait for the fall tests to come.Happy to report I ran her in 8 tests and passed 7 times.I needed 6 legs since I didn't run her in senior. Her one fail was total handler error. Her 7th. pass was as a master advanced(no scores less than 8).
I am glad I tried something different and might try and finish her as a master advanced dog but now I got the fire back in me to get back into NSTRA.
All the same,the name
3x NSTRA CH(one first place needed to become a 4x)Rebel Rouser Smokin Sparks MH sure looks good!!
Just curious if any of you have gotten bored with the venues you do.
