Any of you reading and following my post know I've been on a mission the past couple years to find the right boots. Nothing seems to fit my feet the way I want. I'm headed to Scheels in Sioux Falls tomorrow to try on a pair on Kenetreks. But in the meantime I order and just received today a pair of Cabelas Ultralight Boots by Meindl. I've only been wearing them around the hosue this afternoon but so far they are quite comfy. Certainly no bread-in period required. I was wondering if anyone else out there has tried these boots?

Cabela's has a sale of these old models I just bought a pair, I've heard nothing good about the new ones.
 
Meindl boots are the best pair of boots I have ever owned.

I have a pair that I have owned for 15+ yrs. and they will be replaced by nothing but Meindl when I replace them.
