Interesting statistics. If you believe the MDC and KDWP figures for 2008, 200,000 quail hunters in Kansas harvested 700,000 quail, m/l. Missouri recorded 20,000 quail hunters, harvesting 200,000 quail m/l. so in Missouri, average quail hunter harvested about 10 birds per year. Kansas about 3.5? seems out of whack, unless the Kansas hunters are focused primarily on pheasants with quail as a bonus bird. What do you guys think?
