Brush , Bobwhites , Brittany’s and a Shorthair

Most of my hunting in Kansas is a combination hunt pheasant and Quail , yesterday we would head to the Flint Hills of Kansas and hunt brushy fence lines and draws for the Bobwhite Quail . We had a blast for hunting this cover type and for a bird that holds better than Pheasants . In a bit over a 1/2 day of hunting we found 4 coveys and harvested 14 Quail .

My Brittany was actually the only Brittany on the hunt and , now the Ks Brittman now owns a Shorthair she is the black dog in last picture , she is still learning the game but did well on this hunt .
 
Awesome pictures of your pups, looks like Greenwood co, I been fortunate enough to have some good hunts in the flint hills!
