Brood counts

Any word on the brood counts yet ? When are they suppose to be out ?

I thought it was in the last DNR magazine. I cannot find it to let you know for sure .

Crow counts have been released. Brood counts are done in August. Probably another couple weeks before they are published.

Way too much rain for the news to be real good.

No word on pheasants, but look at northern SD and you can see populations down 40% - >70% along the ND / SD border.

numbers will be down, but just like everywhere else, look for heavy winter cover, you should find a better carry over of birds and production in these areas...SW ND might actually be up, but it's mostly pay to play...

not good, think will need to do some duck hunting this fall

still hearing reports of small birds no color showing. not good where I am going sounds like. I guess I will wait and see.
