Storm clouds rolling in from the northern sky and two pheasants in his game bag, me gunning partner Henry makes his way homeward whilst me gun dog TRAD continues scouring the ground for bird scent.

I got 2 nice ones today, but lost one in 6 ft.tall cattails.My lab was on him, but he must have gotten in the water.I hate to loose birds!In my younger days, I would have spent an hour trying to get that bird. It was very windy, and a cold blow out of the North, had big flocks of adult snows moving all day.It was spectacular. Had a 3 rooster flush, wish I would have had my 12-87, instead of the 870!!
