boots

Sorry for the thread jack. Just curious if anyone has tried the "ruffwear" dog boots? Interesting design but I wonder how well they would stay on in the field.

I let Fillmore run in these for about 20 minutes on some mowed grass (she was recovering from a foot surgery), and one flew off during just some simple retrieves. Boxed 'em up and returned them. Wasn't too stoked to pay as much as we did for them, but I was hopeful. Unfortunately, they weren't for her. The winter version with the high leg wrap looks much better in terms of design, but at those prices, good lord!

Toad- gets even funnier when you hit a rooster pretty good- dog takes off for retrieve- rooster comes to life and hits the afterburner- dog heads for high gear- slips on the high speed turn and crashes

take a picture next time you put them on

Will do. Need to get them dirty before we use them in the field anyway.

My setter Ace doesn't wear boots often, but he like Danner Pronghorns.
Kind of expensive buying 2 pair, and sizing is tough :D

Yeah, right! lol

What type and brand of shotgun does your setter carry?
