Any one else hunting it? I was out there this morning before the storms. Shot one and dog found a cripple.

Seems like more hunting pressure there this year, perhaps due to increased stocking levels.
 
I havent in a few years. Maybe a late season trip when it will be more empty. Maybe it wont be this year. Who knows
 
With a young dog I'm purposely staying away from the hoards. Haven't been yet, but may try it late season when I'm back after Christmas.
 
Late in the season should be pretty good. They usually quit stocking birds the first week in December. Once they stop stocking, the majority of guys stay home. There are definitely birds to be had, but those birds that have made it that long are smarter than those just released from the truck.
 
I could use someone to show me the ropes there if you're willing.. Like I said it's been years for me. Its only 20 minutes away..
