Actually the book I have is published by Montana Fish and Game. :eek: Pre MT F,W, and Parks.
For what ever is is worth.
Montana pheasants populations have been established with pen raised.
They did work hard at controlling predators. I know, I know, times have changed.
Present times, It's DANG hard to be able to establish wild populations of pheasants from pen raised birds.
Whatever, they did get it done didn't they.:cheers:
