I’ve seen this coloration before. It’s a pen raised bird from a put and take hunt. my grandson shot it yesterday. I skined it. I’ll try and do something with it and give it to him.

Looks like the hunt was successful! Is that nice looking dog yours or your grandson's? He reminds me of a dog I know!

Neat looking rooster, glad you had a good day with your grandson. Is that Pepper?
 
I am finding that the black dogs are harder to see than the white ones...until (if) we get some snow anyway!

You bet they are, but white German dogs are not as common. Also, I always squint my eyes a little when I see them because I suspect some shenanigans somewhere in the bloodline. That sentence might heat up some keyboards!!
 
Yes, she's been on fire on this pen raised birds! I pulled what I hope was the last quill from her face last week.
Glad to hear she is finally getting quill free.
 
This is a wild bird! Don’t know what it got into. Cool and creepy!
