Big runnin' dogs can pin roosters too - even in late January

I had to cross two fences to get to where I could take this picture -- when he went on point he was 415 yards away. You can't really tell from the photo, but this bird is in the intersection of 4 fields -- two bean fields, a CRP to camera left and then a corn field on the other side of the far bean field.

Bird held until I darn near stepped on him.

Nice dog work !!! and good manners by the dog backing .

I also like the Tailgate shot with the SXS and the WingWworks vest

How long have you had your Wingworks ? Would you do anything different in regard to your vest ?

Thanks - KS Brittman. That's Finn -- he's one hell of a backer. I've got a photo of him somewhere at like 3 months backing a dog from over 100 yards.

I've had my wingworks since October and the only thing I'd change about it is ordering it years ago.

Gotta love those dogs that excel! Close or far, it's something I wish I could smell for a day! For the effect it has on the dogs, it must have some kind of primordial grip on the rest of their being!!!
