Let's face it, adulting is hard.
I'm stuck behind the microphone for a college basketball classic because our coach can't read a clock and thought a 1 p.m. tip was a great idea. It'll be only the second Opening Day I've missed in 31 years of hunting.
Despite it, I'm still frothing at the mouth. So boys and girls, shoot straight, enjoy the time in the field, enjoy the traditions with old and new friends, pet your dogs for me and leave a few out there for us for Sunday.
