Beretta Silver Pigeon

I have a little 28 gauge silver pigeon. It's a neat gun, but it's a close range gun.
Why do you say it's a short-range gun? I have no issues with my 28ga out to 40yds. 1oz of #5's out of a 28ga at 1350fps is no different than 1oz of #5's out of a 12ga. Birds don't know the difference, just a little smaller pellet count. Need to be slightly more disciplined when shooting a 28ga.

I agree. I shoot my Franchi 48AL in 28 ga better than any other shotgun I own. I didn’t take it pheasant hunting this year but I’m tempted.i will try to take it on a preserve hunt.

I had major success with my new CZ 28ga SxS with a 2 3/4" load of 1oz #5.

I have 2 beretta O/U, both 28"..... 12 and a 20

Long time ago I bought a browning O/U 26"
I'll never buy a 26" barrel gun again, too wippy
