Benelli M2 - Problem!

Shot one heavy load and two 7/8oz today/Friday. No issues, except the shooter had problems hitting - shooting over the bird. Still not happy with the force it takes to insert a shell in the magazine. Perhaps that will improve with age...
I've noticed with my M2 that when it takes excessive force to get the shell in the magazine it's an issue with the trigger assembly alignment, usually after cleaning the gun and reassembling it. Popping out the pin and resetting the trigger assembly usually takes care of the issue. Also, make sure you're following the reassembly order from the manual.

My question is why should you have to do things to a brand new expensive shotgun. Take it back.
Amen to that remark...Apparently there haas been considerable remodeling of the magazine shell catch - bending, grinding, polishing. This seems to be the problem area as well as cutting the magazine spring.
