Here is a great recipe. Enjoy it with your favorite breakfast or game.

Beer Muffins
4 cups Bisquick Mix
2 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. cornmeal
1 bottle of beer @ room temp...(your choice but a nice amber works really well)
Combine all ingredients; Spoon batter evenly into greased muffin pan (pan will be full).
Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Yields 12
Enjoy with your favorite meal, gravy, or jelly...mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Bob you probably would like to render your own lard for the receipt.

Mike, you know back in the late 50's and early 60's I did do that. We raised our own hogs and butchered them on the farm and did all the cutting wrapping smoking of bacon and hams and yes we rendered all the lard. Man did that stuff make some light and flaky pie crust.......Bob
