So, I'm a resident of IA. Have the opportunity to move to the Bates county area for work.

Never lived/hunted in Missouri. Thinking coyotes, deer, etc but how is the bird hunting? Oddly enough, my bird dogs enjoyment plays a role in my professional life. :eek:

Gun laws,? Suppressors are legal..is it county by county, Sheriff's decision?

As a sportsman what should I know about MO hunting compared to Iowa?

Bird hunting can be fair on private ground in missouri. Deer, turkey, and ducks trump any type of upland bird hunting and people can be very "proud" of their deer hunting ground. Deer season lasts from September 15 through January in one form or another and guys can get really silly about it especially during firearms season. Quail season closes January 15
