Banner Lakes - temporary closing?

I was out at Banner Lakes SWA yesterday and noticed a sign about it being closed until sometime in November. Did I read that correctly? Does anyone have any info on why it is closed? Mostly just curious. Also, we hope to buy a house about 10 min away from Banner next month.

I know a portion North of 52 should of been closed until the 15th of this month for nesting Migratory waterfowl. It closes or a better word is it takes reservations starting Sept 1 for hunting, so all other activities will be not allowed until the last day of waterfowl season I believe. But it should be open now. Maybe the sign was hiding from the one's who were suppose to take it down????? good luck with the new home!!!:thumbsup:

A friend of mine stopped by Banner today after I asked about the sign. Long story short, it was for 2012. ;-)

I usually catch things like that.

Just finished with the mortgage broker and we are one step closer to paying the bank money for the a long while! ;-) next comes the packing and moving.
