Convinced my better half that I need to get home for one more hunt before the season ends. You know its funny if you add a bird dog that momma loves to the mix it seems to be a lot easier to convince when I tell her "it will be really good for Whiskey to get out one more time."

Anyways loading up and heading back home to Liberal Friday night to hunt until the 31st. How is it looking out there?
 
Just out of curiosity, why are you picking Tuesday.

One thing im hoping for is there wont be near as many hunters as when I was home in early December.
 
Weather looks perfect to me for a great last day of season hunt. Let me know if it is true.
 
I will be out Saturday through Tuesday. We are going to hunt all day Tuesday then drive home Wednesday morning. I am getting old enough the 4.5 hour drive home after walking all day isn't the most fun or safest thing. The weather does look pretty nice, although I would prefer a high around freezing instead of the low 50's. The last time the guy that is going with me this time and I were out there we woke up Sunday morning and the temp was -20, 50 is definitely better than that. This past weekend was the best hunt I had all year, so hopefully this weekend will compare. Regardless, it will be better than working.
