back from ND opener

just got back from ND. and to let everyone know that there is still alot of bird there. ND is looking really good. seen alot of hens and shot my limit almost every day for a whole week. good people there. got to hunt with my family and i thought we did a whole lot better than last year.

Congrats! Did you hunt the area we were talking about in pms before season? The landowner that I hunt w/ said there were a lot fewer birds than last year, but there were still a couple hundred birds on his half-section......to a KS boy, that ain't so bad!!!

yeah just a little bit. where i from i dont want to say too much because the hunting is getting a little outta control but you walk out your back door and start walking. tree rows where the best. i didnt walk one tree row without flushing at least ten birds. and most of them where hens. so thats a good sign. talked to a lot of farmers and they dont expect a rought winter. so i thinks the bird numbers are going to be really good next year. pheasants forever really step up this year and did a lot of habitat there.
