Assault Shotgun - for hunting?

As some of you know, I have two guns jury-rigged to accommodate a shoulder disability: forend handle and handle behind the trigger guard, so I can reach the safety et al.

Assault guns appear to be configured the same, at least the grip at the trigger and some guns have the forend grip.

Problem: assault guns come with 18" barrels. I would need a 26". Am wondering if longer barrels can be ordered. And most appear to be pumps, although a few are semi-auto's.

Any suggestions here? Brands?

Maybe stating the obvious but have you searched the net for tactical stocks and forearms for you preferred shotgun? I'm not familiar with the assault shotguns but if they are common shotguns modified with different stocks then I would assume you could get a longer barrel. No difference then from going from long barrel to short barrel in my opinion.
 
Thanks for the comments...I have looked for forend and rear stocks - very limited gun applications. If made, I would use them on my Browning.

There are grips for forend and rear stocks, but one must modify the existing guns using rails et al.

Beretta makes a tactical gun with a LOP of 12.5". Need to visit a gun shop to see if that gun can be modified with a longer barrel.
 
The Benelli M4 has a ton of after market options but it has a 18.5 inch barrel, you could gain a few inches with an extended choke, don't know if there is a longer barrel but don't think so.
 
I think you could find someone to swap you barrels. On a 3 gun or maybe a coyote hunting sight. The kicker would probably have to have a model that would except an extended magizine for them to be interested in a swap. I don't think Berettas do? Benelli m2s and winchester mx3 do. Winchester has a pistol grip mx3 with a 24 inch barrel. It's called the mx3 Longbeard or some ting like that.
 
The Mossberg 930 field combo has a 28 inch barrel, a aftermarket pistol grip stock and after market rail for the grip which would accept the vertical fore grip and is very reasonably priced, this could be the one.:10sign:
