Are you guys getting as much rain as we are in Texas?

We r... Got to mow 4 times this summer because of rain. Just got 4" in 1 hr again. Mud, mud, and more mud. No drought here. Some fields never got planted because it never quit this year. Rain rain rain. Sick of it. But its better then drought I guess. Except for those hit with floods.

My wife is on the phone with my sister-in-law right now. She's in the Dallas area and complain about how 3 days of rain are bring huge Texas style spiders out into the open and into her house? LOL
Hopefully those panhandle pheasants are getting some rain/relief too!

Feels like a pretty typical July in Manhattan. There have been some spotty rains that came through this month, but my house missed pretty much all of it. The ground is getting dry and cracked, and the grass is browning up nice.
I was going to go mow the random seed heads off the grass just for kicks, but the belt broke on my riding mower after about 30 feet. Just as well, the grass has only grown a couple inches since I mowed it a month ago...:cheers:
We are still in much better shape than last year! We had to pull the boats out of the lake in August last year, when my family's dock became a deck...
