Thinking about going Saturday somewhere for the day. Really interested in finding some quail. My old Vizsla doesn't hunt as long as he used to and neither do I. If anyone has a dog they would like to bring along maybe we could hunt one for half a day and the other for the other half.

I was thinking about either SW down by Strong City WIHA area or straight south of Fall River on WIHA but I'm open to most anything. Perhaps around Wilson wouldn't be bad either.

PM me or whatever if anyone is interested. I just don't like to hunt alone that much anymore.
 
If I lived closer & didn't already have non-hunting commitments for Sat eve, I would do it in a heartbeat! Hardly worth it to me all the way from Denver for a day-trip.

I'm pretty much in the same boat as you - don't like hunting all by myself all of the time (though I guess I still do enjoy it from time to time)! That was the exact same reason for posting my "Grand Finale KS Hunt" invitation thread a few days ago...Maybe we could get out together for a day or two then, when I will be already in KS hunting for several days??? Have quite a few roosters in the bag this year already (& never tire of that), but sure would love to add some quail to the mix - that is one of my primary reasons for making a KS run instead of just staying close to home in CO!
