Anyone see the sun???

Here in Glasgow we are on our 5th straight day of foggy, frosty weather, clouds are lifting a little today, but sure would be nice to see the sun again, how about other areas of Big Sky, any sun out anywhere???

It's just that time of year. I haven't seen the sun for about a week and I'm in sunny California. I absolutely love this kind of weather.

Over here in Billings it's like the banana belt, barely a skiff of snow on the ground. Looking forward to heading back to Glendive this weekend and getting three or four days of hunting in over the holidays. Already got three days lined up. Hoping for more birds than I've seen around here.

You guys in MT with the 10-12 inches of precipe a year, have a whole lot more sun then most. Up Nort in MN a day of sun in Dec is a VERY rare thing.:(

It was kinda neat

Yep, we went down again this weekend.
Complete fog-out.
Hear comes the neat part. Posting at the end of a field and then out of the fog, you see 100's of birds coming your way.

It was great, we really had to make sure of the safety factor though.....knowing where everybody was.

We did alright:thumbsup:

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of the UPH family.

We finally lost the fog on Sunday afternoon, Now the wind is blowing and we had a skiff on snow this morning, I believe the wind is supposed to blow the next couple of days and temps should fall back a bit but nothing too terrible. Looks like most of the snow is going way south of us where they can use the moisture, so good for them. Two weeks left for birds here, I need to pick up my elk meat over in Homestead in the next couple days so I will be chasing birds again. Merry Christmas too everyone also, and happy New Year!
