Wondering if anyone was doing any goose hunting this year. Joined a club but they aren't going out tomorrow. Anyone know of some public land I can hunt a get a shot at a few geese?

Had my buddy set the dekes out yesterday, had 6 sitting in them at last check. Season is finally here, kind of. Early goose really is not very good and really relies on location worse than later in the year. If you can get permission to get on private ground that you have seen geese on then you are golden but don't expect to be able to run traffic this time of year. I don't know of any public ground beside city park and park hill g.c. where you can decoy geese, and not much if any public ag fields. Why does your club not let you go out tomorrow? If you want to go out and watch a sunrise with your dog they should let you, just saying. Be patient, goose season doesn't get good for several months.
