Anybody find birds around Tribune?

Spent all day Saturday hunting the walk-in around Tribune. Saw three roosters and two hens. Hunted there two years ago and it was great. Any clue on what happened??????
 
thats weird, buddy of mine that lives out there farms a ton of ground, we usually make a trip out there once or twice a year. talked to him a week or so ago, said he's been seeing a ton of birds, more than he has the last couple years during harvest
 
We hunted North and South of Tribune and Leoti. Never even saw a bird crossing the road.... Just thought it was odd. Crops were out and things looked great. My lab worked hard all day. I have always like that area but I was just dissappointed with what I found. I guess maybe I'll give it another chance later in the year.
 
huh.. ill have to give my buddy a call and see if hes still seeing birds. i hope theyre still plenty out there.
 
we were there opening weekend. Friday we did a little scouting and saw over 200 birds just driving around. We ended up with 14 birds for the 3 of us over the weekend. Did not see nearly as many birds Sunday as we did Saturday.
