their winter was brutal! some places had 40 inches of snow on the ground for months.

I have a friend in Iowa who travels a lot for work. He enjoys pulling over to send me pictures/videos of pheasants he's seeing because he thinks it gets me worked up. It doesn't get me worked up too much, but it is good seeing that birds made it through the winter and I appreciate the pictures. Now for a successful nesting season!

This weather doesn’t straighten out the hatch is going to be very disappointing. I think the hen can keep the eggs viable in this weather but once they hatch there’s not much she can do.
