Anti pick devices

Hey everyone, im looking for some input on anti pick devices. I know of blinders, bits, and scottish beak guards. Ive used blinders in the past, but they'll still pick eachother when densities get too high. (This discussion is not meant to get into density ratios) Has anyone used the bits? Thwy look really effective, but seem like thwy would interfere with eating/drinking.
Thanks for any input.

Update: I Tried the White Plastic bits this year, they don't work at all. Every time I went in the Brooder Barn, they had gotten them off again. And for some reason, I could never find them on the floor! I had to go back to regular pin less peepers. I may order some Scottish beak guards and give them a try- but they're much more expensive.
