Hunted 3 1/2 days with my dad and ended with 5 birds. Saw plenty of birds but the 1st 3 days with out much wind was tough, they were spooky. Yesterday with the cold and wind they held much tighter. Saw groups of 40 - 60 birds on the north end of several farm houses staying out of the wind. Decided to come back early, trucks tranny was acting up the whole trip.
Great way to start the new year in a great state! Played about a 1000 hands of gin rummy, lost a $1.20.
Also got 1 coyote on the way out with the truck, he zigged when he should have zagged.
