Hey everyone. New to Colorado. Going to check out some WIA fields for pheasant in Morgan and Weld counties. Anyone have some tips, pointers or want to join me? If I end up going solo (no dog unfortunately), probably will end up being more of a scouting trip than anything. Let me know. The name is Pete. Thanks.

My suggestion is to go further east. You may find something where you intend to hunt, but there are way more pheasants east of Sterling.
Yes. Went east of sterling an up by Holyoke. Didn't see much track.
Kicked up two birds both in rows of trees. Didn't get a look at one and never kicked it up again. The other flushed and when I got around the tree he was out of range and into an area I couldn't hunt. Hard with one guy and no dog.
